About the venue
Situated in the heart of London yet with beautiful and secluded surroundings, the historic Middle Temple boasts one of the finest Elizabethan Halls in the country built in 1570. An impressive setting for dinners ranging from 20 to 300, or 220 for a dinner dance, wedding guests can dine on the very same high table where generations of Royalty have sat from Elizabeth I to Prince William.
There are stunning back drops for your wedding photographs both inside and outside this prestigious venue from our award winning gardens to Fountain Court with its ancient mulberry trees and surrounding Elizabethan buildings.
With views across the river Thames, marriages and civil partnerships can take place in the elegant Queen’s Room or Parliament Chamber which can seat 50 or 75 guests respectively. For those wishing to get married in a Church there are several nearby including the renowned Temple Church for members and families of members, of Middle and Inner Temple, St. Bride’s in Fleet Street and for those with a RAF connection in the family, St Clement Dane’s in The Strand.
We recognise that every wedding and civil partnership is special and Middle Temple is the perfect setting in which to celebrate one of the most important days of your life. Contact our experienced and friendly Events Team who will help you achieve your dream day.
