With our dedicated team ensuring everything runs smoothly, exclusive use of Islington Town Hall offers a unique experience on Sundays and bank holidays.
Whether you choose to tie the knot in our grand Council Chamber, traditional Richmond Suite, historic Mayors’ Parlour, or modern Room 99, every corner of our historic building will be reserved for your unforgettable celebration.
Exclusive use ceremonies include:
- A guarantee that there will be no other ceremonies taking place for one hour before or two hours after your ceremony start time.
- The use of the ceremony room you have chosen and the attendance of two registrars for your ceremony.
- Ushers to assist you and your guests.
- The use of both of our anterooms for the couple to relax in, either together or separately for one hour before the ceremony start time.
- The use of a committee room for you and your guests to relax in before and/or after the ceremony
- Access to the publicly accessible areas of the Town Hall for photographs.
- Full personalisation of the ceremony content, within legal parameters.
- Separate interviews and entrances for couples who don’t want to see each other before the ceremony.
- A co-ordination with the registrar who will be conducting your ceremony (one month before).
- Express production of your certificate within three working days of your ceremony.

Pets
A pet is able to attend ceremonies in the Council Chamber, Richmond Suite or Room 99. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to attend ceremonies taking place the Mayor’s Parlour.
Registered assistance animals are welcomed in all rooms.

Exclusive use can only be booked by email request to registrars@islington.gov.uk, and not online. Dates are subject to venue availability.
A non-refundable booking fee is payable at the time of booking (currently £250). This amount will be taken off your ceremony balance.
