About the room
With a traditional aisle layout and the same grandeur of the Town Hall's 1920's design, the Richmond Suite's original Art Deco features will provide a perfect setting for your special day.
The pet-friendly room provides an excellent space for any happy couple, featuring oak panelling, high, elaborate ceilings, and a beautifully ornate fireplace, decorated with dried flower displays.
We offer ceremonies in the Richmond Suite on Saturdays only, but please note that the Suite is not available on the second Saturday of each month, as it is used for other democratic functions.

Capacity
60 guests
This number includes witnesses, guests including children and babies, musicians and videographers. The couple, registrars, and one professional photographer do not count toward this number.
These guest numbers are the maximum allowed following our fire and health and safety risk assessments.
Please note that some of the photographs on this page were taken when only 30 guests were allowed, but 60 guest chairs will be provided.

All ceremonies in the Richmond Suite are able to be fully personalised with readings, music, a choice of script, and personal vows, as well as separate interviews and a separate entrance if you choose.
A simple ceremony will last around 20 minutes and a fully personalised ceremony may last 40 minutes.
Prices and days/times offered
Prices include use of the room for the ceremony, the registrars’ attendance and one copy of the certificate. The price is the same for all ceremonies, including couples choosing to have a civil partnership with no ceremony.
