About the room
For couples who want a simple yet meaningful ceremony with excellent value for money, we present our 'Say I Do With Two' ceremonies.
New for 2026, these ceremonies are perfect for couples eloping to London, celebrating a second special day in the future, or couples who want an intimate celebration without too much fuss or expense.
These simple ceremonies take place with just two witnesses present, and a pet if you choose.
Your ceremony will take place in one of our lovely ceremony rooms at Islington Town Hall, depending on which is available on the date you choose. It is not possible to request a specific room for a Say I Do With Two ceremony, or find out which room it will be held in before the ceremony takes place, as this is subject to change. These ceremonies will not take place in the Statutory Room, as this room is licenced separately from the other Town Hall Rooms.
These ceremonies take place Tuesday-Thursday between mid-October and March. If you would prefer a ceremony with full personalisation, more guests, a specific room or other dates, please see the pages for our other rooms to find one that suits you.
Capacity
2 adult witnesses
Say I Do With Two ceremonies are intimate ceremonies, so the ceremony will be with only:
• You and your partner
• Two adult witnesses
• The registrars
Children and babies cannot be accommodated at Say I Do With Two ceremonies, as you can only bring two adult witnesses to your ceremony. If you want to bring a photographer, they will need to be one of your two witnesses.
Please note that it is a legal requirement and your responsibility to bring two adult witnesses to your ceremony. Our team are not able to act as witnesses or find witnesses for you.
Pets
You can choose to bring one pet to your Say I Do With Two ceremony.

Say I Do With Two ceremonies are shorter, simple ceremony options, offered for couples who would prefer this kind of ceremony. This means that on we are unable to offer readings, music, personal vows, separate pre-ceremony interviews or have a walk in.
Prices and days/times offered
Prices include use of the room for the ceremony, the registrars’ attendance and one copy of the certificate. The price is the same for all simple ceremonies, including couples choosing to have a civil partnership with no ceremony.
