The Angel Suite ante room use

It’s a beautiful new Town Hall room you can add to your ceremony booking to chill, take some photos or make some final touch ups before your ceremony!

You can find out more and look at some more photos by visiting the main info page for this room.

While the bookable slots are designed to line up with the ceremonies in the Council Chamber, it may be possible to book the Angel Suite before your ceremony in another room.

It depends on the day of the week, the time of your ceremony and the room you have booked, so please email registrars@islington.gov.uk to ask whether the times will line up for your ceremony.

It is just inside the entrance of the building, making it perfect to duck into on arrival if you don’t want to be seen by your partner or guests.

Please have a look at Section 4 of our booking policy, which outlines the room use policy.

We ask each couple to agree to these terms and conditions before booking the Angel Suite.

This room can only be booked by email request to registrars@islington.gov.uk, and not online, so please get in touch if you want to add this to your booking.

We advise you to book it once you have confirmed your ceremony date and time.

Whilst the room was designed with Council Chamber ceremony slots in mind, other couples booking other rooms may also request the ante room before their ceremony.

If the room is free, we can add the Angel Suite to your booking as long as we have two weeks notice before your ceremony.

This room is not offered for ceremonies to take place in.

However, its sister room, the Canonbury Suite, is an intimate ceremony room in a similar style.

You can find out more about the Canonbury Suite by clicking here.

This room is reserved for the use of the couples who have paid to book it, so without a booking you will not be able to access it.

Unfortunately not. We don’t allow eating or drinking in this room and we don’t have an alcohol licence.
