About the venue
The Inner Temple dates back many hundreds of years and is one of the four Inns of Court, based in the heart of London’s legal quarter. Steeped in history, the estate includes the twelfth century Temple Church, originally home to the Knights Templar. Within the precinct lies a three-acre garden, its wide lawns populated with a rare and unusual collection of trees, sweeping towards the Thames and bounded by spectacular herbaceous borders.
Today, whilst continuing to serve over 20,000 members, The Inner Temple is an impressive and prestigious venue available for private hire for weddings, civil partnerships and receptions, banqueting and corporate events.
We recommend hiring the first floor exclusively, which is comprised of four function rooms and can accommodate up to 248 for a wedding breakfast or 600 for a reception, plus a beautiful, award-winning garden spanning three acres, available for hire from May – July. Wedding packages start from £162 ex VAT per person, for minimum numbers of 100.
