About the room
The Canonbury Suite has been designed to reflect the heritage of the Town Hall, with a romantic modern twist.
This beautiful pet-friendly room features wood panelled walls, velvet furniture and curated décor in gold, teal, and powder pink. You'll say your vows in front of the beautiful original Crittal stained glass window, which has been carefully restored back to its 1920's glory.
The intimate, bijou setting provides a stylish backdrop for 'cereminis' at Islington Town Hall. The Canonbury Suite is the perfect space for a city elopement or celebrating in elegant style with your very nearest and dearest.

Naming Ceremonies
Canonbury Suite ceremonies are fully personalisable as standard, with readings, music, a choice of script, and personal vows and a separate entrance if you choose.
Please note that we are not able to offer separate interviews in this room, so couples will need to see each other before the ceremony begins.
A simple ceremony will last around 20 minutes, and a fully personalised ceremony may last 40 minutes.
