About the room
You can book one of our suites as a space to arrive a little bit early and relax in before your ceremony in one of our other rooms, either together as a couple, or with your best people.
These gorgeous anterooms have been designed to reflect the heritage of the Town Hall, with a romantic modern twist, and features wood panelled walls, velvet furniture and curated décor in gold, powder pink, and teal. The rooms are just inside the entrance of the Town Hall and feature lots of natural light, a dressing table and a full length mirror- perfect for heading to on your arrival to make those final touches.
Important information
You cannot book an anteroom for your ceremony itself. The information on this page is about booking one of our anterooms as an additional space prior to your ceremony in one of our other rooms. Anteroom use can only be booked by email request to registrars@islington.gov.uk, and not online.
A choice of which of the two anterooms is offered is not possible due to other planned events. Pictures on this page show both rooms.
An anteroom can be booked before ceremonies on Fridays (April-mid October 2024 only) and weekends.

Capacity
The anterooms have a maximum occupancy of 6 people each (including children and babies) following our fire and health and safety risk assessments.
Prices
Prices include use of the room for 45 minutes before your ceremony time as standard, although additional slots can be booked upon request.
